naked raygun - “vanilla blue” 1987 - tough guys from Chicago - i would go to as many “all age” 7th street entry shows i could. naked raygun shows were my favorite.  these guys were traveling and playing and releasing albums and I talked to them.  i got to tell their bassist that this song meant the world to me.  he was impressed that I knew that he wrote the song and that we were friends.  when they played it Pierre said, “…this is for my number one fan in minneapolis!”
